A Vision Reborn: 

Thirty years ago, a dream was born in Las Vegas. Gary Goddard—a brilliant visionary and a staunch Trekkie with the resources to match—fought tooth and nail to build a full-scale, breathtaking USS Enterprise right in the heart of the city. He poured his heart into making it a reality. But at the final hour, Paramount executives pulled the plug. Their reason? A lack of faith. They feared the thrill would fade, imagining a tarnished, neglected starship sitting there as a monument to failure.

A monument to failure? Imagine that. As if we, the global community of Trekkies, would ever allow the Enterprise to degrade! It’s entirely impossible. We are a crew that would volunteer its upkeep for free.

Because of that boardroom hesitation, we instead received Star Trek: The Experience at the Hilton. And make no mistake, it was a magnificent, unforgettable gift.

For anyone who crossed its threshold, the highlight was undeniable: stepping directly onto the bridge of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D, and then, boarding the shuttlecraft simulator.

The Magic of Yesterday

That simulator wasn't a perfectly accurate Class F shuttle; it was a unique vessel modified to carry a larger crew of eager fans. But the moment the doors closed, the magic took over. The visual and motion coordination was absolute perfection. Wrapped in an immersive, three-window view—gazing out the front viewport and watching the cosmos streak past the side windows—the action flowed seamlessly around us. The synchronized pitch and roll of the cabin made it so intensely vivid that you found yourself gripping the armrests, completely forgetting your feet were planted on solid ground.

That was three decades ago. Now, ask yourself: what miracles could they produce today?

The Adventure of Tomorrow

Think of the breathtaking, ultra-high-definition imagery of deep space we possess now—cosmic vistas that Goddard’s team could only dream of in 1998. We have the tools today to forge an immersive adventure so stunning, so profoundly visceral, that no one will ever want it to end.

But we aren't just building another amusement ride. Our shuttlecraft will be a flawless, faithful replica of the iconic, classic vessel.

We are channeling the exact same passion, reverence, and meticulous craftsmanship that went into restoring the original, iconic television prop—the very one you can marvel at today at the Star Trek: The Original Series Set Tour in Ticonderoga, New York. That legendary prop was brought back to glory through pure love, and that is the exact same spirit we are pouring into this build.

This Is Our Ship

When I say "our shuttle," I mean it in the truest sense of the word. This isn’t the corporate compromise of a studio or a hotel chain. This belongs to us—the fans, the Trekkies, the dedicated members who step up to say, "Make it so." This will be a living testament to our shared passion.

If you were fortunate enough to buckle up and ride that simulator thirty years ago, you already carry the spark of what we are trying to achieve. You know the feeling of looking out into the final frontier and believing, even for a second, that you were there.

We need that belief again today. I know that, at the very least, we have your total, unwavering support.
