Our initial aspirations were, admittedly, as ambitious as a warp-speed voyage: to reach a million members by the close of our second year, establishing chapters in every state and across most nations.
In retrospect, you could say we miscalculated the temporal distortion field. As of today, our roster stands at 1500 true members (those who've officially joined via our website) and a robust 9000 recruits (our valued community members on Facebook).
The original five-year timeline for this ambitious growth plan will conclude as scheduled on October 5, 2025. However, our mission is far from over.
We are excited to announce a five-year extension to our growth initiative, contingent upon the successful launch of a truly groundbreaking endeavor:
the construction of a full-scale, iconic Class F shuttlecraft – the NCC-1701/6, The Einstein.
Further details regarding this thrilling project will be unveiled in November.
We firmly believe that the tangible effort to build The Einstein will serve as an extraordinary catalyst. This initiative is designed to generate significant excitement and widespread media coverage, providing the necessary propulsion to help us achieve our one-million-member goal.
Beyond membership, the Einstein project is poised to forge vital new connections and enhance our legitimacy within the broader Star Trek universe. This includes building strong relationships with major "Trek" organizations, such as Paramount or whichever entity holds stewardship of the property.
By demonstrating our commitment and capability, we aim to become a recognized and respected force within the fandom.
This endeavor represents more than just a construction project; it's a strategic pivot designed to galvanize our community, attract new enthusiasts, and solidify our position as a serious and dedicated group. It's time to build, to inspire, and to grow!
INTRODUCTION
OCTOBER 5, 2020
Year one was our introduction to the general public through social media outlets. The goal was to get feedback and to polish the dream. During this time we had to decide whether we would continue to the next phase.
ORGANIZATION
OCTOBER 5, 2021
Our goal during this phase is to achieve three objectives.
1. Become a legal entity.
2. Expand our search for members and partners.
3. Develop operational budget through partnerships and sales of project merchandise
EXPANSION
OCTOBER 5, 2022
During this phase we expand the reach of the organization by developing chapters in foreign countries and all 50 states. The goal is to create the largest fan-based organization on the planet with a minimum of one million members
PLANNING & FUNDRAISING
OCTOBER 5, 2023
Provided all goals have been met, we begin Planning and fundraising activities. During this phase we will select the location and employ a major theme park builder to investigate and provide the total cost for the project. Once the financial goal is known we will seek additional investors and possible crowdfunding
FINALIZATION
OCTOBER 5, 2024 - OCTOBER 5, 2025
Fundraising has been successful and all licenses and permissions have been granted by Paramount and other entitles. Preparation for groundbreaking ceremonies and activities begin in earnest.
Begin preliminary construction, employee hiring and training
GRAND OPENING
NOVEMBER 5, 2030
Park will officially open to the public
We failed to reach our 2nd year goal of developing an operational budget and 3rd year goal of achieving one million members making it unlikely we will be successful in our mission. There is still time to catch up. However, if we fail to meet our 3rd year goal by 2025 our mission will be a failure and a new mission or termination will be decided.
It was decided to extend the mission for 5 additional years.
